Pakistan's Border Action Team (BAT), which attacked the Indian Army patrol, crossed the Line of Control and included special forces personnel and terrorists. They had a special dagger and camera headband, so that they wanted to record the attack of Poonch district.

Two Indian soldiers had died in the attack on June 22 in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir and a member of 'BAT' was killed in response to the Indian Army. Indian Army recovered the body of a member of 'BAT' from there during search and other operations.

A senior official of the Indian Army told PTI, "The body of the infiltrator killed in the action of failure of Bat has been handed over to the local police."

He said, "Weapons, ammunition and other war related goods like special dagger, a headband, a knife, an AK-47 rifle, three magazines, two grenades, besides some clothes and bags have been recovered from there, demonstrates the barbarism of the Pakistanis army."

The officer told that the member of 'BAT' was wearing a headband to record the incident and the incident of killing the soldiers. The forces failed their efforts and one of their members died and the other injured in this counter-action.

He said that it is a matter of investigation whether the camera was connected live to the Pakistani Army institutions across the border. He said, "The data and details of the camera will be investigated."

The official said, "We are sure that another member of 'BAT' has been killed, but his body has been taken along with other members of 'BAT'.

He said, "will never fulfil the nefarious plans due to strict action taken by our soldiers (dismantling soldiers and recording them in camera)."

This is the third incident of Pakistani attack in 600 metres from the Line of Control in Poonch sector by special forces this year. They said that between the heavy firing from Pakistani positions in their posts, the Border Action Team 'BAT' had attacked at around 2 am.
