Friday, Apr 11, 2025
Nearly 9,000 Afghan citizens have been deported by Pakistan this month after the expiration of a voluntary departure deadline. Islamabad accuses many Afghans of committing crimes, including attacks on Pakistani soil. However, many deported individuals say Pakistan has been their home for years, and now, they are forced to return to Afghanistan.
Al Jazeera’s Kamal Hyder reports from the Torkham border crossing, between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
