A nine-judge bench of the Supreme Court of Pakistan has said that former Prime Minister of Pakistan Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was not given a fair trial and the case against him was not in accordance with the law and the Constitution.
In the last 13 years, this case has been heard only 12 times.
According to Dawn News, under the Constitution of Pakistan, the President has the right to ask the Supreme Court to hear and give opinion on any matter related to public interest.
