In the wake of the upcoming assembly elections in Nagaland of India, Congress president Rahul Gandhi has once again raised the issue of the Naga Accord. Rahul Gandhi has criticized the Prime Minister of India, referring to the Naga Accord.

Seeing the elections in Nagaland, the Congress is once again trying to siege the Modi government about the Naga Accord. Rahul made a tweet on Sunday morning. In this tweet, he wrote, "August 2015, Mr Modi claims to create history by signing the NAGA accord. Feb 2018, Naga Accord is still nowhere to be found. Modi ji is the first ever Indian PM whose words don't mean anything. #CantFindTheAccord.''

Tell that the Center and NSCN-IM sign the agreement on Naga Peace Agreement in August 2015. The agreement was signed after more than 80 rounds of talks lasted for nearly 18 years. Rahul Gandhi has also been raising questions on the PM before the Naga Pact. At the same time, he has also been demanding to share information related to Naga Pact.

Long-time separatist movement is going on in the northeast state of India and this movement is divided into many groups. After the coming of Modi government at the Center, the long-standing agreement was finalized. On August 3, 2015, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had signed an agreement with the NSCN in the presence of Home Minister Rajnath Singh and National Security Adviser Ajit Doval. However, the details of the agreement have not been made public yet.
