Nitish government has already taken a U-turn on the sand mining policy before the Bihar close called on Thursday (December 21) on the call of RJD President Lalu Yadav in Bihar.
On Wednesday (December 20th) the Chief Secretary of the state Anjani Kumar Singh said that the government has now decided to introduce sand mining in the state under the old rule.
Earlier, an important meeting was held in presence of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, in which it was decided that old licenses related to sand mining should be restored and sand mining should be done according to the old rules.
However the e-invoicing system will continue. In addition, contractors will now be allowed to endowment of 100 hectares.
After this news, Leader of Opposition and former Deputy Chief Minister Tejasvi Yadav tweeted on the social media: "The people of Bihar have a huge congratulatory victory over the legitimate demands of the fair people of Bihar and the Nitish government's knee against the dictatorship mining policy."
In the second tweet, he wrote, "The Chief Minister should apologize to the poor laborers of Bihar after overturning the sand and loose rock for their ego satisfaction and after changing their dictatorial decisions taken on the policy. The wrong decision was only then the reflex. On the wrong decision, we should apologize to the Dalits and the too backward of Bihar. "
Tejasvi also tweeted on Thursday's statewide shutdown: "RJD will continue to oppose and struggle till the government does not compensate the workers' full demands and economic losses in the past months. The shutdown will continue tomorrow."
While removing a Confusion between the RJD leaders-workers, Tejasvi said in another tweet, "No confusion! Tomorrow, the RJD will continue to close Bihar. Not the power, the struggle for the poor is our politics."
Let us know that the Nitish government had overturned the mining policy in the state and canceled sand mining contracts for online sand sale. This policy is being opposed across the state.
However, the Patna High Court upheld it, but the Supreme Court of India overturned the decision of the Patna High Court.
