For the majority, 122 legislators need support. Together with NDA and Janata Dal United legislators, the figure becomes 129. Nitish has claimed support of 132 MLAs.

But Tejasvi Yadav claimed that 24 MLAs from Janata Dal United are in contact with him. There are 11 Yadavs and five Muslim MLAs in the Janta Dal United who are suspected of join hands with the Rashtriya Janata Dal.

Apart from these, there is a situation of uproar over such legislators of Janata Dal United who are close to Sharad Yadav. Janata Dal United MP Ali Anwar openly oppose Nitish's decision. Rajya Sabha member of the party, Birendra Kumar has also opposed the decision to support Nitish Kumar's Ramnath Kovind during the presidential election.

On Thursday (July 27th), there was a meeting of Sharad Yadav's Birendra Kumar and Ali Anwar in Delhi. Before that Rahul Gandhi spoke to Sharad Yadav. Lalu Yadav also told the media that he will call Sharad Yadav. In such a case, it was hoped that from Sharad Yadav's side even with rebel MPs, a big decision could be made after the meeting, but he only told the media that he would tell his decision in a few days. It is believed that Sharad Yadav was annoyed with Nitish for the last year due to the removal of the Janata Dal United President. Nitish himself became the president by removing Sharad.

In this way, many political analysts are speculating that if Laloo Yadav got the support of Sharad Yadav, then the dissatisfied Janata Dal United MLA will be mobilized after getting the support of a big leader. If this happens then Nitish Kumar's government will fall within 24 hours of the formation of this government.

However, there are reports in the media that 17 MLAs of Rashtriya Janata Dal and seven legislators of Congress are in touch with Janta Dal United.
