Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar came to meet Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Saturday evening. According to sources, the current political situation in Bihar is discussed between Rahul and Nitish. There was talk for about 40 minutes between the two leaders. The dialogue of discussion on Vice Presidential election is also coming out in the meeting held at Rahul Gandhi's residence in 12 Tuglak Lane.
Nitish has come to Delhi to attend a farewell feast organized for President Pranab Mukherjee.
Nitish Kumar's meeting with Rahul was taking place after a few days of talks with Congress President Sonia Gandhi's Bihar Chief Minister and RJD President Lalu Prasad with the intention of resolving the cracks created in the alliance.
Nitish will stay in Delhi for four days. Nitish will join the dinner party organized by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday evening at the Hyderabad House of Delhi, in honor of the President's farewell dinner.
It is being said that Nitish Kumar will be the only Chief Minister of the opposition who is going to attend the dinner party given by the Prime Minister. It is also being seen as the close proximity of Modi and Nitish.
The newly elected President of the country, Ramnath Kovind, will also be present at this dinner hosted by Modi.
Chief of the three forces of the country, Mukherjee, also gave the farewell ceremony by the Chiefs of Staff Committee on Friday. In this farewell ceremony held at Manekshaw Center, President Mukherjee spoke to top army officers. In his farewell speech, Mukherjee greeted all the members of the armed forces and their families. Mukherjee also paid homage to martyrs and their families, who sacrificed for the country.
Apart from Vice President Hamid Ansari, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defense Minister Arun Jaitley, besides the heads of the three Armed Forces and senior officials also attended the farewell ceremony held at Manekshaw Center.
Janata Dal United, Congress and RJD are partners in the ruling Major Alliance of Bihar. The political crisis created in Major Alliance after RJD leader Tajasvi Yadav has been accused by the CBI. Janta Dal United has demanded the resignation of the Tejasvi Yadav to present its corruption free image which has turned down by the Congress and the RJD. Even after meeting of Nitish and Tejasvi last week, there is no solution to come out.
