Rashtriya Janata Dal President Lalu Yadav has accused Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi for masterminding the Rs 300-crore scam.
Former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Yadav has said that this scandal has been detected recently in Bhagalpur and he will file a complaint against them in the CBI's Patna office.
According to the report of The Telegraph, Lalu Yadav claimed, "When Nitish and Sushil Modi realized that their shared scandal could come out, they broke the Grand Alliance so that they could join the NDA and form a government and avoid investigation.''
Lalu Yadav claimed that the Srijan Women Development Co-operation Committee Limited has illegally demolished the public exchequer and it is Patron Nitish Kumar and Sushil Modi.
Lalu Yadav said that the Central Government should investigate the matter once the complaint is lodged with the CBI.
Lalu Yadav, who arrived in Jharkhand's capital Ranchi for the ongoing hearing in the fodder scam, said that after coming to the notice of the scam, CM Nitish Kumar immediately constituted a Special Investigation Team so that the matter could be reversed.
Lalu Yadav insisted that if the matter was properly investigated then many leaders and officers would be arrested. Lalu Yadav alleged that the scam was in the year 2013 and 2014 when Nitish Kumar was CM and Sushil Modi deputy CM.
Lalu Yadav alleged that Nitish Kumar and Sushil Modi had deployed your own officers of all the departments including Bhagalpur district collector.
Lalu Yadav alleged that the scam of Rs 295 crore was just beginning, this matter could be of a scam worth Rs 1000 crore.
Speaking on the statement of zero-tolerance against Nitish Kumar's corruption, Lalu Yadav said, "Nitish Kumar, before you leave your greed, then learn how to give me greed. Your face is exposed in the public.''
Lalu said that Bhagalpur scam is bigger than the fodder scam, in which he has been framed.
