US President Donald Trump's former attorney Michael Cohen was sentenced to three years imprisonment on Wednesday for various crimes, including misuse of cash during the election campaign. Cohen is also charged with giving money to those two women who have been involved with the US President Donald Trump.

In the court, Cohen said that I have taken the responsibility of all those things which I have confessed about my personal conduct and relationship to the affairs of the President of the United States.

Cohen was sentenced to 36 months in prison by the District Court of the Southern District of New York.

American District Judge William Paule also sent Cohen additional sentence of two months in reference to the allegation of Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Robert Mueller is investigating Russia's interference in the 2016 election.

Cohen has been asked to surrender on March 6.
