The difficulties of people who Advocacy in India can increase. The Bar Council of India has issued notices to advocating leaders. More than 500 MPs, legislators and councilors of India have been given a week's time to reply to the notice. In this, questions have been asked from the representatives of the people, why not stop them from advocating?
Bar Council has also formed Expert Committee to consider this serious issue. After the response to the people's representatives, guidelines will be decided on the renewal. The matter of advocating by the leaders has been rising from time to time. In view of this, the Bar Council has taken concrete steps on this.
In the meeting of the Bar Council of India on January 22, the final decision will be taken on the matter of advocating the lawmakers and legislators. The Bar Council has issued a notice and asked, "Since you are working as a public representative, why not prevent you from advocating."
All such leaders can record their answers, objections and suggestions. This will be considered in the Bar Council meeting. On this issue Manan Kumar Mishra, chairman of the committee formed by Bar Council, has cleared the situation on this. They said that these leaders have been sent a notice so that they can not say the violation of the judicial system in the event of cancellation of the validity.
In the case of Bar Council to take a decision against such leaders, the advocacy of legendary people like Arun Jaitely, Kapil Sibal, Abhishek Manu Singhvi, K T S Tulsi, P. Chidambaram, Bhupendra Yadav and Meenakshi Lekhi may be in danger.
A petition relating to advocating by lawmakers is also pending in the Supreme Court. Senior BJP leader and advocate Ashwini Upadhyay has filed a petition in the apex court and advocated by politicians as a serious case of conflict of interest.
The Committee of Experts constituted by the Bar Council has also been said advocacy by MPs and MLAs for violation of Article 14 and 15 of the Constitution.
