Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Monday (October 23) accusing GST of being "Gabbar Singh Tax" and accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of ruined the Indian economy and snatching jobs from millions of people.

Rahul Gandhi said that the Modi government had run two axes of notes ban and GST on public without thinking. This rally was called together by the Congress and Gujarat Kshatriya Thakore Army leader, Alpesh Thakore.

Rahul Gandhi started his speech in the rally, by saying 'Jai Mata Di', 'Jai Sardar' and 'Jai Bhima'. At the rally, Alpesh Thakore joined Congress.

Rahul Gandhi said, "There is not even a single community in Gujarat, not a single person who has not been associated with the recent movements. The whole state is on the path of movement."

During the rally, Alpesh Thakore appealed to listeners to stay calm.

Rahul, pointing to Alpesh, said, "Alpesh is asking you to stay calm, but I am sure that people will not be calm because Modiji has tortured them too much. Hardik, Jignesh will not remain silent too. Their voice is the voice of every Gujarati. And this voice can not be suppressed, can not be bought. You give them one crore, five crore, 100 crores, the entire budget of Gujarat or the whole of India's budget or wealth of the whole world, you will not be able to buy this voice or not suppress it."

Rahul Gandhi further said, "... the British had also tried to suppress the voice of Gujaratis. First, in South Africa and then in India, tried to suppress the voice of Gujaratis, but Gandhi and Sardar (Patel) overthrew him from power .... Modiji This voice is not worth the sale. Modiji, you can not buy the voice of Gujarat."

On Sunday (October 22nd), Patinder Amanat movement committee leader Narendra Patel had alleged in front of the media that the BJP had offered him Rs one crore for joining the party. Patel also showed a cash of Rs 10 lakh in front of the media and claimed that the BJP had given that money as advance.
