Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mahbuba Mufti told the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday (July 15th) that the outer forces in the state are causing problems. Mehbooba informed this information during the discussion with Rajnath Singh about the security of law and order, especially Amarnath pilgrims in the state.

A senior Home Ministry official said that during a nearly hour-long meeting, Mehbooba told the Home Minister what steps the state government has taken for the sake of keeping peace in the Kashmir Valley. After the terrorist attacks on the Amarnath pilgrims, she also appreciated the efforts made by Rajnath Singh at the Central Government level for law and order in the state.

Officials said that the meeting was discussed about the steps taken by the Central and the State Government to ensure the safety of Amarnath pilgrims.

In the interaction with the reporters after the meeting Mehbooba said that the origin of the Kashmir issue is not a problem of law and order, but due to unrest, external forces are. The ongoing struggle in the state is a part of the acts of these external forces. She said that nowadays, China is beginning to interfere with this.

Mehbooba said that "The conspiracy to attack Amarnath pilgrims was created to create communal tension in the country, but I am lucky that the whole country, all the political parties and the central government, especially the Home Minister, have been helped to rescue us from this tragic situation.''

Not only that, she also welcomed the President's order to maintain the status of special state of Jammu and Kashmir. She said that she has also requested the central government to maintain the status of special state given to Kashmir under Article 370 of the Constitution.

On Monday, there was a terror attack on devotees returning from the holy Amarnath cave in Anantnag district, in which seven passengers were killed. Security agencies involved in anti-terror operations in Jammu and Kashmir have been told to implement security plans with full force and energy.

So far, more than 1.86 lakh pilgrims have appeared in the holy cave situated in the Himalayas. This year, 21 thousand soldiers have been deployed to protect the Amarnath Yatra. This number is more than 9500 compared to last year.
