West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said during a rally Thursday (May 11) that she is ashamed that she was born on this earth.
According to the news agency ANI, she said this in a public meeting.
This statement of Mamta Banerjee came after the statement of Bharatiya Janata Party leader Shyamapada Mandal in which the BJP leader had said while addressing party workers that they did not understand that she (Mamata Banerjee) is a woman or a man.
Mamta said, "I am feeling ashamed of being born on this earth today. All the states can be scared of the threats of BJP government of Centre, but West Bengal can never be silent, whatever atmosphere you fear. "
Apart from this, Mamta Banerjee has said many other things. She said, "All religions should be kept together with peace, not the sword should be maintained."
After saying this, Mamta Banerjee said, "It is a shame that I was born on this earth."
