The United Nations warns that for the first time in nearly 30 years the life-saving vaccination of children has fallen drastically due to the corona virus epidemic.

In the first four months of 2020, the United Nations has found that there has been a significant decline in children's diphtheria, tetanus and whooping cough vaccinations.

World Health Organization head doctor Tedros Edenholm Gebreyasis says that deaths of children from these diseases may be higher than deaths due to Covid-19.

He said that these vaccines are the most powerful weapons in the history of public health.
