In Kashmir Valley, in June this year, at least 42 people, including 9 policemen, have lost their lives. It is being called the bloodiest Ramzan of recent years. Among the dead, 27 terrorists and 6 civilians are also included.
According to the Times of India report, a senior police officer told the fear of security forces in the general public because of the murder of the DSP on Friday.
The incident of massacre of DSP Mohammad Ayub Pandit by the crowd was condemned by all sides.
Although the security forces believe that it is difficult to calm the anger of citizens against the police.
The official said, "Though she (Mehbooba) said very strong words in her statement on the police attack. But we got an indication that due to political reasons criminals do not have to be rigidly present. Not even against the militants."
He said, "How many more soldier will we lose. People are crazy like dogs behind us, just because we are policemen."
Both the civilians and the militants have been making their prey to the policemen in the valley. DGP Vaid said that three people were behind the murder of Pandit, two of whom have been arrested.
On Friday midnight, the mob beat J & K deputy SP Mohammad Ayub Pandit to death outside Jamia Mosque in Nauhatta.
Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mahbuba Mufti has condemned it as a shameful act. She has warned the Kashmiri people not to wait for the patiane of the security forces. Since this incident, the police officer's family is in close rage and they is unable to believe it.
