Two soldiers were killed in the attack on the army's convoy on the national highway in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, while three were injured.

Other injured were taken to Srinagar for treatment This attack took place in the Hillar area when the convoy of the army was going from Srinagar to Jammu. After the attack the 300-km highway was closed for traffic. Similar attacks took place earlier this year, in which three soldiers had died in Shopian.
Five soldiers were injured in an attack on the army vehicle on Saturday on the National Highway in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Police said that the terrorists fired on the army's vehicle in Hillar (Qazigund) in Kulgam district. The injured have been admitted to hospital. Police said the condition of one of the injured was serious.
