The heads of state of France, Germany and Britain have issued a joint statement on the situation in the Middle East.
This information was given by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer on his X account.
The joint statement said, "We, the leaders of France, Germany and Britain, welcome the hard work of our allies Qatar, Egypt and the United States for a ceasefire agreement and the release of hostages. We support the joint statement of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, President Sisi and Joe Biden, demanding immediate start of negotiations for a ceasefire.''
It reads, "We believe that there can be no further delay. We are working with all parties to stop the escalating conflict. No effort will be spared to reduce tensions and find a way to stability.''
The three leaders have said, "The war must now end and all the hostages held by Hamas till now must be released. The people of Gaza need immediate help.''
It further reads, "We are concerned about the increasing tension in the region. We are united to end the conflict and regional stability. On this issue, we want to tell Iran and its allies to refrain from such attacks, which can not only increase tensions in the region but can also put the agreement on ceasefire and release of hostages at risk.''
It is written for Iran and its allies, "They will be responsible for putting this opportunity for peace and stability at risk. Further escalation of tensions in the Middle East will not benefit any country.''
