Israel: Top court temporarily blocks demolition of Khan al-Ahmar
07 Jul 2018 ( IBTN News Bureau )Israel's Supreme Court has issued a temporary injunction to block the demolition of a Palestinian village in the occupied West Bank.
The Bedouin community of Khan al-Ahmar has lived there since before Israel's occupation of the area more than 50 years ago.
The Israeli government says the villagers can move their homes to another area, near a landfill.
Al Jazeera's Charles Stratford reports.
