Iran's Atomic Energy Organization says it plans to increase uranium enrichment fourfold.
The Iranian government had already stopped adhering to some elements of the 2015 nuclear agreement in May after the US withdrew from the agreement and began re-introducing sanctions.
Tehran said it would start enriching uranium at a higher level unless world powers, who are sticking by the nuclear deal, do more to protect its economy.
