Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, has criticized the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for hosting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

In a post on the Arabic-language social media platform X—without explicitly naming the UAE—Rezaei wrote, "Just as hosting US military bases did not bring you security, hosting the 'Butcher of Gaza' will not yield good results either."

Rezaei added, "Learn from the recent war; stop escalating the conflict and cease making baseless claims regarding the Iranian islands."

Notably, the UAE recently criticized Iran again at the United Nations and raised the issue of its alleged occupation of three islands. There has been a long-standing dispute between Iran and the UAE over these islands.

Tensions between the two nations have escalated in recent months, particularly following attacks on Iran by Israel and the United States.
