Investigation on BrahMos missile accidentally dropped in Pakistan completed, government sacked three officers

The investigation has been completed in the case of India's missile accidentally falling into Pakistani territory.

The investigation revealed that the missile fired suddenly due to non-compliance of standard operating procedures by three Indian officials. These three officers have been held responsible for the incident.

The Central Government of India has terminated the services of the three officers with immediate effect. The removal orders have been given to the officers on Tuesday, August 23, 2022.

On March 9, 2022, India accidentally fired a BrahMos missile in Pakistan territory. This missile fell in Channu area of ​​Pakistan. The BrahMos missile travels three times faster than sound.

However, there was no warhead loaded on this missile and no one was injured in the incident on either side of the border.
