Airline companies in India intentionally force travelers to leave the flight. Not only this, during the festivals, holidays and natural calamities, they charge arbitrarily for air travel. Airline companies adopt these methods to increase their profits. One such name has come out of the same airline companies, which is the Indigo Airline. These things have been said in the report of the Parliamentary Committee. The report openly raises the issue of misbehavior with passengers in the airline sector, along with shocking disclosures.
In India on Thursday, the Standing Committee of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha presented a report related to facilities provided to the passengers in the airline. The parliamentary committee has said that it has asked the airlines to collect arbitrary prices for the passengers during festivals, holidays, natural disasters and political / social stress.
The committee has also raised the issue of mistreatment of airline staff with passengers. The members of the committee, while describing the incident of mistreatment of the airline staff (especially Indigo) believed that the attitude of the airline staff was found to be extremely rude on most occasions. The committee also found that some private airline companies use long lines at checkin counters so that the passengers could miss the flight. In such a situation, they have to take a ticket for the next flight on the expensive price again, which directly benefits the company.
Let tell you that in November last year, a case of mistreatment of the airline staff was revealed through a video on social media. In the video clip, two Indigo Airline's employees were found to be scrambling with a passenger. During the incident, an airline staff was catching that passenger and two employees were beating and abusing him.
