Bernie Sanders, a senior US leader who was involved in the presidential race for the Democratic Party, has said that India's move in Kashmir is unacceptable.

He has also said that he is worried about the situation in Kashmir.

Senator Bernie Sanders from Vermont has said that suppressing the voice of protest in Kashmir in the name of security has also hindered people's access to health services.

He said, "Many doctors in India have admitted that due to restrictions imposed by the Government of India in Kashmir, patients are not even able to get life-saving treatment."

Speaking at a Muslim conference in the US, Sanders said that the restrictions placed on communication services in Jammu and Kashmir should be lifted immediately. He also said that the US government should speak vigorously in support of international human rights.

A day earlier, US lawmaker Andy Levine also criticized the Narendra Modi government's move on Kashmir, saying Modi had hurt democratic values and human rights.

Meanwhile, an American think tank has said that the situation in India's Kashmir can also have an impact on peace talks in Afghanistan.

In this conference, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan also gave a speech through videoconferencing. Imran Khan said that there is a need to tell the western world about what is happening in India.

Speaking at the 56th session of the Islamic Society of North America, Imran Khan said, "You have to convince the western world about RSS."

Imran Khan reiterated his statement in which he has said that the RSS believes in the racial superiority of Hindus and wants to clean the Muslims from India.

Imran Khan said, "The RSS has emerged as a strong force after the BJP's victory in the recent elections."

He said, "The Nazi Party had proved that a small highly organized ideology group could actually take control of a country. The same has happened in India. An extremist ideology has taken India under control."

In his message via video link, Imran Khan also appealed to ISNA (Islamic Society of Northern America) to spread awareness on the issue of Kashmir in the international world.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi while addressing Pakistani Hindus at a Hindu temple in Umarkot told that the issue of Kashmir will be discussed in the European Union on Monday.

"India made unsuccessful efforts to prevent the European Union from discussing Kashmir on September 2 on Pakistan's request," he said.

He also told that a large number of people would gather in Hyde Park, London and meet Indian High Commissioners, British MPs and human rights activists on the Kashmir issue.

Qureshi also said that he would soon go to Geneva to take up the matter of Kashmir.

Speaking at the Hindu temple, Qureshi said, "The Indian government has prohibited Kashmiri people from offering namaz but all non-Muslims in Pakistan are completely free to worship in their shrines."

He said, "You have evacuated the mosques there, but the temples here have full respect."
