India strongly condemned the statements of Turkey and Malaysia on the Kashmir issue, calling the two statements on the subject of the country's internal issue "beyond the facts" and calling them to avoid making such statements, pointing to friendly relations.
India's Foreign Ministry spokesman Ravish Kumar told reporters, "India's recent decision on Jammu and Kashmir is a completely internal matter."
Indeed, raising the Kashmir issue at the United Nations, the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Mahathir Mohammad, had alleged that India attacked and captured Jammu and Kashmir. He asked New Delhi to work closely with Pakistan. Turkey also strongly criticized India over the situation in Kashmir.
