The Indian Government has given a strong reaction to Kulbhushan Jadhav, the Indian citizen sentenced to death in Pakistan. India's Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj said in the Rajya Sabha that India will not leave any stone unturned to ensure that Indian citizen Kulbhushan Jadhav gets justice in Pakistan.

She said, "We have no choice but to say that if this sentence is served then it will be a planned killing."

Sushma said that the allegations made against Kulbhushan Jadhav are concocted and ridiculous and there is no proof of wrong doing by them.

She said that Jadhav used to do business in Iran and was abducted from Iran and brought to Pakistan. They were prosecuted without giving them a chance to escape. In the case of Jadhav, Sushma Swaraj has sought help from Congress MP Shashi Tharoor to prepare the proposal. This proposal will be presented in both Houses of the Parliament.

External Affairs Minister Sushma went to Congress MPs after giving a statement in Parliament. There she requested Tharoor to formulate a proposal. On this, Shashi Tharoor happily accepted the request after accepting permission from his party leader Mallikarjun Kharge.

Later, Tharoor told to NDTV, "It is a matter which is connected to all of us." It is noteworthy that even last year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemned the release of Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi, accused in the 2008 Mumbai attack had asked to prepare the draft.

In the case of Jadhav, Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad said that Jadhav has been implicated in a planned manner. This is an attempt to spoil the image of India on the world stage. The allegations of what Pakistan has been doing to India till now, he is now frustrated by placing it on Jadhav.

On the commencement of Lok Sabha proceedings in the morning, BJP's Kirit Somaiya raised this issue and demanded that the government condemn this action by Pakistan.

Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge said that the central government is sitting silent in this matter?

He said that the External Affairs Minister should try to save Jadhav otherwise it would prove to be India's weakness.

When members raised this issue in the Lok Sabha, Home Minister Rajnath Singh said, "The whole country is not only worried but also provoked when Jadhav is sentenced to death by Jadhav. The government condemns this punishment which is heard without keeping in mind the fundamental principles of law and justice. To save Kulbhushan Jadhav, whatever the Government of India will have to do. Justice will be done with Kulbhushan. "
