Shia Central Waqf Board Chairman Syed Waseem Rizvi has now responded on the statement given by Ravishankar on the Ayodhya case. They say that there can not be a situation like Syria in India, because both Hindus and Muslims are secular here.

Actually, Ravishankar had said that if the matter related to the Ram temple in Ayodhya will not be resolved soon, then there will be a situation like Syria. Rizvi replied, "A situation like Syria can not be born here. Many secular Muslims and Hindus live here. Here are some cracks between Hindus and Muslims, but if these cases do not improve soon, these cracks can also be trenches."

Ravi Shankar had said in an interview to 'Aaj Tak' that it seems impossible for the two sides to agree on the order which will come from the court on Ayodhya matter. They said, "Muslims should give up their claim on Ayodhya, because Ayodhya did not appear to be the place of faith of the Muslims."

Ravi Shankar said that Islam does not allow worship at the disputed place. He said, "Lord Ram can not be born in any other place." Apart from this, Ravishankar has also rejected the suggestion of the public to make a hospital at the disputed site.

For the last one year, Ravi Shankar has talked about 500 people from Ayodhya, Chennai, Lucknow, Delhi and Hyderabad through personal or video conferencing. Talking about this discussion, Ravishankar said, "Many people are opposing my efforts, but let me tell you that whatever decision the court takes, it will not be approved by anyone."
