Nitish Kumar sworn in as Chief Minister on July 27 between the political spat in Bihar's politics. The Deputy Chief Minister's post has now been conferred to BJP's Sushil Modi by stripping of Lalu Prasad Yadav's son, Tejasvi Yadav. Nitish became CM in less than 24 hours after resigning to get support with BJP.
Meanwhile, Lalu Yadav has broken his silence. Lalu has targeted Nitish Kumar by press briefing. Lalu said, "Nitish Kumar talks of zero tolerance, but let me tell you that this is the issue of (Nitish) 302. I know a lot of Nitish Kumar's personal dispute, but I do not like to say it."
Lalu also said that he would appeal against the formation of a coalition government of Nitish and BJP. "We will appeal to the Supreme Court against the decisions of the governor (the formation of the new government)," he said.
Lalu Yadav also told Nitish Kumar Bhasmasur and Shankar Bhagwan himself. Lalu said, " We said, let's go and rule like Shankar Bhagwan, but it (Nitish) comes out Bhasmasur."
Apart from this, he said, "Where Nitish sees power, he goes. Nitish had said that he will meet in the soil, but will not meet with BJP."
Lalu also targeted the Nitish government's prohibition of liquor ban. Lalu said, "Alcoholism was a pretense. Alcohol was coming from other states."
Lalu Yadav also targeted some media institutions. He said, "Some media institutions that we thought were good. They took our betel nut. See how America's media is fighting trump and the media is fighting against the opposition here. Amit Shah now became a super editor, of some media institutions. They decide what news will be played. He tells the owners of the institutions. There is no mistake of reporters and editors in it."
