Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi has once again targeted the Center's Modi government over the continued violence in Kashmir. Talking to the news agency ANI on Sunday (May 4, 2017), Rahul Gandhi said, "A month ago Finance Minister Arun Jaitley ignored my warning. I told him that the central government is moving towards setting fire on Kashmir. About 6-7 months ago Arun Jaitley came to meet me. Then also said him that your government is misbehaving with Kashmir. Kashmir is burning in the fire."

The Congress vice-president further said that Arun Jaitley ignored me and said that there is peace in Kashmir. But the truth is that Kashmir is burning under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The central government has used Kashmir only for political gain.

He said that Kashmir is the strength of India, but the central government is making it our weakness.

Let tell that the Congress Vice President's statement come after the statement of Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh in which he said that the resolution of the troubled Kashmir will be expended at any cost and all the barriers to Kashmir's better future will be removed.

During this, the Home Minister said that we will find a permanent solution to the Kashmir problem. Addressing the media in Delhi, Rajnath Singh said that the condition of Kashmir has improved in comparison to earlier. We can assure that the situation of Kashmir will be controlled by the government.

He further said that ISIS, the world's most dangerous terrorist organization, has failed to its hold among the Indian Muslims.
