Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, while retaliating on the BJP in Patan of Gujarat, said that I am a devotee of Shiva and I do not care, whatever BJP says., "I am a devotee of Shiva and I do not mind, whatever BJP says.
Prior to this, Rahul did Darshan and Puja in Bahuchara ji temple near Mehsana.
On questions related to Darshan in the temples, Rahul said, "I am a devotee of Shiva, believe in the truth. Whatever the BJP said, I believe in my truth."
Rahul gave this statement in the context of questions arising on his going to temple. Rahul has already did Puja and Darshan in many temples in Gujarat.
Earlier, BJP national spokesperson Bhupendra Yadav said, "Congress star campaigner Rahul Gandhi is going to the temples and worshiping, it is a part of culture and it is also good. However, this trend comes automatically and should not be restricted to elections only. "
