In the district of Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh, on Tuesday (May 9th), the violence took root again. In Shabbirpur village last week, violence took place during the demonstration demanding strong action against the violence against the Dalits.
According to the police, around 1000 people gathered under the 'Bhima Sena' flags. In the violence, one private bus, 10 motorcycles and one car were burnt in two villages of Saharanpur. Three police personnel and one journalist were also injured in the violence.

Following Tuesday's violence, Chief Minister Yogi Aditya Nath summoned the state's principal secretary (home) Debashish Panda, police DGP Sulkhan Singh and police ADG (law and order) Aditya Mishra.
According to sources, CM Yogi asked the officials to deal strictly with the nuisance. Uttar Pradesh cabinet minister Shrikant Sharma has said that the situation will be normal soon.
Violence erupted in Shabbirpur village of Saharanpur on May 5, when the Dalits objected to playing music in a loud voice in a procession being taken by Thakurs. There was a dispute over this matter in both the sides and later the violence spread.
A thakur was killed in the violence and 25 houses of Dalits were burned.
According to the police, messages of the gathering were being distributed on Saharanpur on May 9 by the organization 'Bhim Sena' on social media. Also, demand for strong action on violence against the Dalits in 'Maha Panchayat' and Shabbirpur is being demanded.
According to DM NP Singh of Saharanpur, the message sent to the social media is being said that "If justice is not found, Saharanpur city will be burnt."
According to DM NP Singh, protesters are protesting in the Dalit-dominated villages of the district. The protesters burnt the vehicles in Malahipur and pelted stones at the police vehicle.
According to DIG Jitendra Shahi of Saharanpur, 'Bhima Sena' is active from the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati's Chief Ministerial period.
Rahul Bharti, who appealed to the people to gather in Saharanpur, told the Indian Express that "Atrocities against Dalits were a result of thought-provoking strategy and we will fight against it."
