Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Ministers of 15 States and Union Territories observed a two-minute silence for the soldiers killed in Galvan Valley on the India-China border.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said about the soldiers killed on the Indo-China border that the martyrdom of the soldiers will not go in vain. He said that India wants peace but is capable of retaliating on provocation.
The Indian Army released the names of the slain officer-soldiers. The Indian Army has released the names of 20 officers and soldiers deployed along the India-China border. It includes five jawans of Bihar.

Prime Minister convened an all party meeting on Friday
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's office has been told that the Prime Minister has convened an all-party meeting on June 19 at five in the evening to discuss the situation of the Indo-China border in which the heads of various political parties will participate via videoconference.

China's Foreign Ministry has said that they cannot be held responsible for the incident in the Galvan Valley.
Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Zhao Lijian said, "The right and wrong are very clear in this." This incident happened in the area of LAC towards China and China cannot be held responsible for this.
The sovereignty of the Galvan Valley has always been with China. Indian troops committed serious violations of the Border Protocol and our Commander-level negotiations. ''
The spokesman also said that China does not want any more conflict.
He said that negotiations are going on between the two countries at diplomatic and military levels.
Rajnath Singh said on the death of soldiers
India's Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that the country will never forget the bravery and sacrifice of soldiers killed on the Indo-China border. The nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the family members of the soldiers.

According to the news agency ANI, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has held a meeting with Chief of Defense Staff Bipin Rawat and the three chiefs of the army. Rajnath Singh has also spoken to External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar about the conditions following the skirmish on the Indo-China border.
British High Commission said that both countries should talk
Spokesperson of the British High Commission has given a statement amid the dispute on the India-China border that the two countries should negotiate as violence on the border is not in anyone's interest.

Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut has said that you cannot hold Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi or Rahul Gandhi responsible for what has happened on the border.
