Earlier, Rahul Dravid was found infected with Corona in a routine investigation conducted before the Indian team left for Dubai for the Asia Cup.

VVS Laxman, who then became India's head coach for the first time on the Zimbabwe tour, was given the role of the team's interim head coach.
