After 25 years in Uttar Pradesh a new political equation is taking shape. Akhilesh and Mayawati are together in Uttar Pradesh's Gorakhpur and Phulpur Lok Sabha bye-elections. On Sunday (March 4th), Bahujan Samaj Party announced in Gorakhpur the support of the Samajwadi Party candidate.

BSP leader Ghanshyam Khawar said in Gorakhpur, "On the instructions of sister Ji, for eliminate the forces that destroy the country and the region, in Gorakhpur by-election, the party has announced support to the son of backward Pravin Nishad and Samajwadi Party.''

Ashok Gautam, zonal coordinator of BSP Allahabad, said that BSP wants to wipe out the BJP, so his party has announced support for SP. He said, "Our workers want to end the BJP, so Bahujan Samaj Party workers have decided to vote and support Samajwadi party candidate Nagendra Singh Patel in Phulpur.

Let us know that voting for the Gorakhpur and Phulpur by-elections on March 11. The results will be on March 14. These seats were vacant after becoming the CM of Yogi Adityanath and deputy CM of Keshav Morya. The BJP wants to win this seat again in every situation, in fact, the by-elections of these seats will prove to be the scale of the popularity of the Yogi Govenment.

Earlier in 1993, there was a historic alliance between the Samajwadi Party and the Bahujan Samaj Party in Uttar Pradesh and Mulayam Singh assumed power. Although this government lasted only one and a half years. Mayawati withdrew support from this government on June 2, 1995, and Mulayam Singh's government fell in minority.
