Flirting, commenting and filthy comments against girl students have become part of Campus Life in Banaras's BHU.

Many girl students have accepted this as a part of the daily routine and they bear it, ignore it.

Some vocal girls also raise voice against this suppression, but these incidents around the BHU campus have joined daily life.

For the Flirting of girls at BHU campus, the hooligans have made a one-time deadline and it is known as 'Lanketing'.

The word 'Lanketing' is made on the name of the Lanka market situated near the Singh gate of BHU. The hooligans walking around the BHU campus use the term 'Lanketing' to disturb and annoy girls.

There are cafés, breakfast shops and large number of clothing shops in the Lanka market. In these areas, hooligans following the girls and women riding on the bike, they will be seen doing porn comments on them.

Around the BHU's only Womens College, there is also a flood of such street impressions. Due to these incidents, there are frequent quarrels and attacks in this area.

On condition of anonymity, a student said that whenever we go to this market. We go to make the group or take a boy with us. The danger of flirting in these areas remains all the time.

Some other girl students say that they tolerate such incidents because reporting these sentences is a threat of inverted defamation.
