Other than the G-20 summit held in Argentina, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi met the Chinese President Xi Jinping. In a meeting with Shi Jinping, Modi said that this year has been extremely important for both countries (China and India). I believe that the coming year will be even better.

Modi said that we need to talk in one voice in the United Nations and other organizations keeping in mind the interests of developing countries. That is why we have come together for the BRICS.

Modi and Shi met twice after their informal meeting in the Chinese city of Wuhan. They met at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) held in China's Qingdao in June and then they met at the BRICS summit in Johannesburg, South Africa in July. Modi told Shi that he hopes to host him in an informal meeting next year.

Modi said that today's meeting will be important in providing a direction in the context of strengthening our relations. He said that such initiatives are helpful in maintaining speed. He said that there were two review meetings in Qingdao and Johannesburg. Modi said that I would like to convey my heartfelt congratulations to you (President Shi) for taking time to meet this meeting. Following this meeting, the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) tweeted that there was a meaningful discussion between the two leaders.

Apart from the Summit on this visit to Argentina, Modi also met Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman of Saudi Arabia. During this meeting, discussed between the two leaders to increase the relationship in the energy sector. Saudi Arabia has offered to supply oil and petroleum products to India. Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman of Saudi Arabia has proposed this proposal to Narendra Modi.

Narendra Modi met him at the residence of Salman in Buenos Aires, capital of Argentina. During this meeting, various bilateral issues including political, security, economic, investment, agriculture, energy, culture and technology were discussed. In the meeting, this topic was discussed as to how to redeem opportunities for agricultural products.
