The US, Britain, France, Germany and Italy have issued a joint statement on the situation in the Middle East to protect Israel amid threats from Iran.
All these countries expressed their full support for reducing tensions in the Middle East and reaching a deal for a ceasefire in Gaza and the release of hostages.
The joint statement said, "We have supported the joint call of US President Biden, Egyptian President Abdul Fatah al-Sisi and Qatar's Emir Tamim to resume talks later this week with the aim of reaching a deal as soon as possible."
It said, "All parties must fulfill their responsibilities. At the same time, it is important to provide unhindered aid to Gaza."
The five countries expressed their support for the defense of Israel against Iranian aggression and extremist organizations supported by it.
They called for stopping the constant threats of military attacks against Israel from Iran.
Along with this, the serious consequences for regional security in case of such attacks were also discussed.
