Uttar Pradesh Police is accused of shooting a man in a fake encounter. It has been alleged that the family members of a man named Jitendra Yadav. Jitendra Yadav's family members say that the Uttar Pradesh police have shot him in a fake encounter. The family said that he was shot due to his caste.
According to the news agency ANI, Jitendra Yadav was shot near Noida's Sector 122 at night on Saturday (February 3). Jitendra Yadav has been admitted to the Fortis Hospital in Noida, in a critical condition. A large number of police personnel have been deployed outside the hospital. Samajwadi Party has supported the allegations of Jitendra Yadav's family. Samajwadi Party spokeswoman Pankhudi Pathak tweeted that Uttar Pradesh police has been accused of shooting innocent people for promotion. Pankhudi Pathak tweeted, "A innocent person named Jitendra Yadav has been shot in the neck; it is an attempt of the Uttar Pradesh Police to encounter unsuccessfully in Noida, the Uttar Pradesh government is trying to keep the issue away from the media. The person is fighting a battle of life in Noida's Fortis Hospital, the officer in Uttar Pradesh Police is encountering innocent people for promotions."
After tweeting by the Samajwadi Party leader, the Uttar Pradesh Police replied. Uttar Pradesh Police tweeted that noida police is getting information about this. According to Noida's SSP, this is not an encounter case. In the case an FIR has been registered against a sub-inspector and he has been arrested. In the case, a total of four policemen have been suspended.
Let us know that Uttar Pradesh Police has done 15 Encounters in the last 48 hours. The police claimed to have killed a crook in these encounters and captured 24 wanted criminals. Uttar Pradesh Police has claimed to teach lesson to the miscreants in Muzaffarnagar, Gorakhpur, Bulandshahr, Shamli, Hapur, Meerut, Saharanpur, Baghpat, Kanpur and Lucknow.
