In the NDA, BJP's ally Shiv Sena has attacked the Center's Modi government once again. Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray said on Tuesday that the country should take into account its defense preparedness before inciting China.
Uddhav Thackeray said that the elections can be won on false promises, but the war can not be won by praising itself.
Uddhav Thackeray said in an interview with Shiv Sena mouthpiece Saamna, "The threats from Pakistan and China have increased in recent days and we do not have enough ammunition to fight them."

On the BJP victory in the Maharashtra local body elections, Shiv Sena supremo said that this has happened only in Maharashtra and in the states like Goa and Punjab, the party has not performed well.
He said that senior party leaders including Congress President Sonia Gandhi did not campaign on behalf of Congress in Goa, while PM Modi had campaigned for the party. The Congress did not face any major election, but managed to win more seats than the BJP. At the same time, BJP was destroyed in Punjab.
