Today, votes are being cast for the by-elections in 4 Lok Sabha seats and 10 assembly seats in India. In the morning voters are engaged in line for voting. However, there have been complaints of disturbances in EVMs from several places including Kairana-Nurpur, which have affected voting. After complaints of disturbances in EVM and VVPAT, the opposition has described it as a conspiracy of BJP.

During the voting on Monday in Kairana, Noorpur of Uttar Pradesh and Bhandara-Gondia of Maharashtra complaints of disturbances in several EVMs. According to the media report, the Election Commission has told the heat is one reason for the disturbances of EVMs. The Election Commission on technical malfunction in the EVMs said that due to the severe heat, sensor of EVM machines has occurred disturbances.

According to DM Indra Vikram Singh of Shamli, coming to Kairana parliamentary area, sensor of VVPAT machines is causing a problem due to high heat. The technical officer is correcting it. On Monday morning, allegations and counter-allegations were made between political parties regarding EVM disturbances. RLD in Kairana also complained to the Election Commission.

During the voting held under the Bhandara-Gondia and Palghar Lok Sabha by-elections in Maharashtra, the disturbances of EVMs were reported from many places. Bharatiya Republic Party Bahujan Mahasangh leader and former MP Prakash Ambedkar said that about 450 EVMs were malfunctioning. In this regard, an election official said, "In some places in Bhandara-Gondia and Palghar parliamentary areas, there were reports of EVM and VVPAT machines being spoiled due to technical failure. They have been replaced."

Tell that the RLD candidate from Kairana Lok Sabha constituency, Tabassum Hasan has lodged a complaint from the Election Commission regarding the mess in EVM. The Election Commission accepted the disturbances of some EVM machines, but assured that all the voters will get a chance to vote.
