US President Donald Trump can announce in the days to come whether there is any recording of his private conversation with former FBI director James Komi.
This announcement can eliminate the main secrets related to recent investigations. The White House press secretary yesterday said that he is expecting the announcement regarding the probability of 'this week' tapes.
President Trump had terminated Komi in May and then tweeted that before leaking information in the Press Komi that inspected the investigation of possible contacts between Trump's election campaign and Russian officials, expect that any of our conversations do not tape.
Trump and his colleagues have since then denied directly to clarify whether this was an extraordinary and hidden warning.
The President had told reporters last month that I will tell you about this in the near future, but they did not indicate that there are tapes or not. However, he said that some journalists would be extremely disappointed by knowing the answer.
The House's intelligence committee had told White House counsel Don McGan that he would give the answers to the questions related to the tape by Friday.
According to the Presidential Recorders Act, the laws made after the Watergate have public authority on recordings made by the President and can be made public. Deleting them will be considered a crime.
