There has been a rapid increase in cases of discrimination against Muslims in America. This has been revealed in a survey released by the Pew Research Center.
According to the report of Xinhua news agency, "The study showed that nearly three-fourths of Muslim respondents in the survey agreed that there is a lot of discrimination against Muslims in the US and about two-third of them said that they are dissatisfied with the direction in which the nation is going."
According to the survey, the opinion of Muslim respondents has seen major changes compared to 2011. Barack Obama was president at that time and most of the Muslim respondents had said that the country was moving forward in the right direction.
Almost 48 percent of respondents admitted that they have faced at least one discrimination in the last 12 months, which is 40 percent more than what happened in 2007.
Five Muslim Americans in the US found anti-Muslim graffiti in their local area in the last one year.
It was reported in the survey that Muslims are in doubt about the trump and they think that American citizens do not see Islam as part of the mainstream American society.
According to estimates, there are about 33 crore Muslims living in the United States.
It is notable that the US President Donald Trump has strongly responded to the cancellation of the decision of the ban on the entry of Muslim nationals of 6 countries to the US.
Trump has described the Hawai court's interference in the judiciary's executive work. In Nashville in America, he said that this is a very bad news, and sad news.
After the decision of the Hawai court, Trump said, "The order which the court has banned was less strict than the first order, it has never happened before, there is a judicial intervention."
