Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had resigned from the post by breaking the alliance by talking about talk of good governance, untimely image and democracy in the Tejasvi Yadav episode, But there are many ministers in his current cabinet who have several criminal cases registered including murder.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar himself also has a name in a murder case. Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, who is constantly blaming the allegations on the Lalu family, is also tainted. All these claims have been done by these leaders in their election affidavits.

Filed a murder case on him in the 1991 a murder case (Section 302 of the IPC), attempt to murder (Section 307 of the IPC), rioting, rebelling (section 147, 148, 149 of IPC) and the Arms Act case is registered on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The Badha court has taken cognizance of these cases. Nitish Kumar has mentioned this in his election affidavit himself.

Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Sushil Kumar Modi mentioned in the affidavit submitted during the 2012 MLC elections that he is lodged against him in Naghia court of Bhagalpur in 500, 501, 502 (defamation), 504 (Peace breach) and 120B (criminal conspiracy) of IPC. Sushil Kumar Modi has got a stay order on an appeal filed in the Patna High Court to end the 1999 case filed by National Leader RK Rana.

Prem Kumar, who has been made Agriculture Minister from the BJP quota in the Nitish Cabinet. Prem Kumar's incitement of rioting (Section 147 of IPC), knowingly harming someone (Section 323 of IPC), risking the lives of others (Section-337 of the IPC) and government servant to obstruct government work (IPC Section-353). The court has taken cognizance in these cases.

Pramod Kumar, who has become a Tourism Minister from BJP quota. Apart from this, cases are also registered under the provisions of section 147, 148, 149, 323, 313, 120B, 504, 216, 386 (extortion), 341 of the IPC including theft. Jai Kumar Singh has revealed himself in his election affidavit himself.

Khurshid alias Firoj Ahmed: Fraud and dishonesty property tax grab (IPC Section 420), three cases of criminal intimidation (IPC Section 506), theft (379), forgery (467), including about one and a half dozen cases are registered on Nitish cabinet alone Muslim Minister Khurshid alias Feroz Ahmed. It has been disclosed by Khurshid himself in his election affidavit. In Betiya court, the charges have been fixed in many cases, while many have taken cognizance.

The criminal cases are also registered on Ram Narayan Mandal, Krishna Kumar Rishi, Shailesh Kumar, Santosh Kumar Nirala, Ramesh Rishi Dev and others apart from these ministers.
