In India, the Congress party is constantly attacking the Narendra Modi government of the Center. Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad speaking on Monday (February 5th) in the high house of the Parliament, while attacking the Modi government during a discussion on the President's address, said that instead of implementing the new development schemes, this government is changing the name of the schemes launched by the Congress and the UPA government.
He tangled that BJP's Modi government is not a game changer but a name changer. Azad said that the existing Modi government has changed the name as many schemes were launched by the UPA government since 1985.
Let me tell you that the Modi government had changed the name of the Planning Commission to the NITI commission first. Recently, the Modi Government changed the name of Mughalsarai Railway Station to Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Railway Station. The name of the Prime Minister's residence on the road was changed from Race Course Road to Lokniti Marg.
Apart from these, there are several schemes of the Central Government that have been renamed by the Modi Government. The Prime Minister Jan Dhan Yojana is also being described as the previous UPA government's plan. A few days ago, Congress leader and former union minister Shashi Tharoor tweeted that 19 of the 23 schemes launched by the Modi government were brought by the previous UPA government, which the Modi government has changed the name and relaunch.
He had written that PM Modi launched the UPA's Basic Savings Bank Deposit Account in the form of Jan Dhan Account. Apart from this, instead of the National Girl Child Day Program, the Modi government has implemented the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao scheme. He described the current government's Prime Minister Rural Housing Scheme, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojna, Prime Minister Agiculture Irrigation Scheme, Make in India, Digital India, Skill India, Pahal, Mission Indradhanush, and several schemes of former UPA government.
