The 15th Delhi State Conference of Communist Party of India (Marxist) started today in Vijay Enclave, South-West District, Palam Dabri Road, New Delhi. This 2 day conference will last until December 16 and 17, 2017. Senior party leader Baldev Singh flagged off. The conference was inaugurated by Polite Bureau member, CPI (M) Comrade Prakash Karat.

Speaking on the current political situation in his inaugural address, Prakash Karat said that due to the anti-people policies adopted by the central government, the Modi government has completely failed to create new employment opportunities, rather, in the upside, There is also work to eliminate. Today, giving a promise of providing 2 crore jobs per year, apart from the matter of giving employment, 'Notes ban' and 'GST' Since the launch, 70 lakh jobs were snatched. The devastating effect of bringing foreign and foreign investment into government sectors through privatization will also result in the creation of employment. Due to the agrarian crisis and reduction in MNREGA, there is a huge reduction in employment available in the countryside. Millions of farmers have been forced to commit suicide due to the failure of the farmers to get the right price for their crops.

He said that private sector has been further promoted in oil and gas mining. As a result, the prices of LPG and diesel and petrol are increasing steadily. Today the poor working-class people of the country are suffering from inflation. Prices of vegetables, pulses and edible oil have increased a lot.

He said that since coming to the center of the BJP, there has been considerable increase in communal violence. In the last three and a half years, many such incidents have emerged, where the people of animal-trading or accused of beef-feeding and keeping people have been killed or have been badly injured by the so-called cow protecters. Dalits are being targeted as well as Muslims, in the name of cow protection. In fact, this kind of violence is to suppress the tone that arises against the government and create an environment of fear in which no one can speak anything against the government. The killing of many logical-scientific intellectuals and journalists and confirming that their murderers are not yet known. Communalism divides the working class and other working people. So, we must be completely careful to fight against it.

At the same time, he also stressed the continuing struggle to get the fundamental rights of the Dalits, by condemning the desecration of the dalit community, the discrimination and hatred being done with them and neglect by various ruling class parties.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Prakash Karat, while addressing the delegates, said that the central government's resolve to further strengthen the conflict against these destructive anti-people policies and urged to defeat the BJP.
