In the name of law and order, the issue has emerged as the biggest challenge for the Yogi Adityanath government, who came to power with a new wave, about two months ago surrounded the predecessor Akhilesh government. Opposition parties are attackers on the government.
Yogi Adityanath government will release the 'Report Card' of his tenure of the first 100 days at the end of next month, and according to the political observers, the Chief Minister will want to make the document his success. But the challenge for this is quite big. Yogi Adityanath was sworn in as Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh on March 19.
Uttar Pradesh BJP says that since the formation of a Yogi government, the change in the picture of the state has already started. The felony is ending and crime graph is falling. Public confidence in the government is being restored. But the recent caste struggle in Saharanpur, communal incidents in Bulandshahr, Sambhal and Gonda have raised concerns for the government. The more worrying thing is that in these incidents, allegations of involvement of people of BJP and so-called Hindu organizations have been charged.
All opposition parties, including the main opposition Samajwadi Party (SP), are surrounded by the BJP government on the issue of law and order which has come to power after criticizing the previous Samajwadi Party government on this issue.
In the incident of carrying a girl in Bulandshahr, activists of Hindu Yuva Vahini formed by Yogi Adityanath in the murder case of a man of minority community have been accused.
Although the Yogi has warned the Hindu Yuva Vahini members not to take law into their hands.
In Saharanpur, BJP workers attacked the Senior Superintendent of Police led by regional MP Raghav Lakhanpal Sharma. The opposition is demanding the MP's arrest in this case.
