Zakir Musa, who took over the command of the terrorist organization Hizbul Mujahideen after Burhan Wani in Kashmir Valley, announced to separate from the organization on Saturday.

This move of Musa has come after his organization has overturned his statement, in which he had warned that if the Hurriyat leaders told the Kashmir case to be 'political', he would cut his head and hang him on Lal Chowk.

Musa, who took charge of the organization in July last year, has announced that after Saturday he will have no relationship with Hizbul Mujahideen.

In a new audio message released on social media, Musa said, "After my final audio message, there has been a lot of confusion in Kashmir. I remain on my statement and message."

Musa had said on Friday that if the Hurriyat leaders termed the Kashmir issue as "a political issue" by calling it 'Islamic conflict', then he would cut the head of the Hurriyat leaders and hang him at Lal Chowk in Srinagar.

Hizbul Mujahideen, however, said on Saturday that the organization does not keep up with Musa's statement.

Hizbul spokesman Salim Hashmi said in an e-mail statement sent to a local news agency in Kashmir, "Such a statement (Musa's) is unacceptable to us. There is a personal opinion of Zakir Musa.''

Responding to the statement of Hizbul, Musa said in the audio message, "Hizbul Mujahideen has said that there is nothing to do with the statement of Zakir Musa. Therefore, if Hizbul Mujahideen does not represent me, then I do not even represent them. Since today, there is nothing to do with Hizbul Mujahideen."

About 20-year-old Musa said that he did not say anything about any particular person or President of the Hurriyat Conference Syed Ali Shah Geelani. He said, "I have only said against the person who is against Islam and speaks of freedom for the formation of a secular nation."

He said, "We are fighting for freedom for the sake of Islam. My blood will flow to Islam, not for a secular nation."

It is notable that in a viral audio message on social media on Friday, Zakir said, "I am warning them to all the hypocritical Hurriyat leaders. They should not interfere in our Islamic fight. If they do this, then we will cut their heads and hang them on Lal Chowk."

He said that the purpose of his fight for the implementation of Shariah in Kashmir is absolutely clear and not that he wants to solve the Kashmir issue as a political struggle.

It is believed that Hizbul Mujahideen is behind the killing of Kashmiri military officer Omar Fayaz in the beginning of this week.
