West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday termed the victory in the BJP's Gujarat Assembly elections as "temporary" and "shame saving". Mamta termed BJP's victory as a 'moral defeat'.
Mamta tweeted, "I congratulate the voters of Gujarat for a very balanced decision in this period. This is a temporary and shame saving victory, but it shows the moral defeat of the BJP. "
She said, "Gujarat voted against atrocities, anxiety and injustice on the common people. Gujarat started the 2019. "
The ruling BJP has succeeded in retaining power in Gujarat and has won in Himachal Pradesh.
On the other hand, while straining the results of the Gujarat assembly elections, the Shiv Sena said on Monday that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) could not achieve the expected wins. Shiv Sena MP and spokesman Sanjay Raut told the media, "The BJP had to win in Gujarat. .. He has been in power for 22 years in the state. He used money power and sent 14 Chief Ministers during the campaign. "
