The hearing in the Supreme Court has started in the Ayodhya case in India since Wednesday. In this matter, the Supreme Court rejected the intervention petitions of the third party giving the first important decision. With this decision, the Supreme Court has barred BJP MP and lawyer Subramanian Swamy from interfering.

The Supreme Court directing the Registrar in clear words said that no intervention petitions should be accepted in this matter. The decision of the court came after Swamy's plea, when he said that worship on the disputed land in Ayodhya is our fundamental right and this fundamental right is greater than the property rights. On this plea the court said that the petition of Swamy will be heard separately. In this case, any third party intervention petition will no longer be considered valid.

The Supreme Court will hear the next hearing on Ayodhya on March 23. According to media reports, about 30 intervention petitions were filed in this case. It included the petition of social worker Teesta Setalvad, including film producer Aparna Sen and Shyam Benegal.

After the Hindu and Muslim communities, the Buddhist community has now claimed their claim on the disputed land of Ayodhya. Some members of the Buddhist community have filed a petition in the Supreme Court regarding this. The petition has claimed that the disputed land of Ayodhya is actually a Buddhist site. It has been said in the petition that the claim of the Buddhist community has been based on the four digging of the Archaeological Survey of India on the disputed land, where remnants related to Buddhism have been found.

It is worth mentioning that the last time excavation was done at the disputed site by the Archaeological Survey of India in 2002-03. According to the petition, before the construction of the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya, the disputed land was related to Buddhism.
