The results of Tripura assembly elections have been announced. While the BJP has won 35 seats, its alliance partner IPFT has won 8 seats. If the total seats of both are added, then this number is 43, which is much more than the majority. In Tripura, only 16 seats have come to the Left account. Out of 60 assembly seats in Tripura, 59 were polled. The election was postponed due to the demise of the CPI (M) candidate on one seat.
According to the final results, in Nagaland, BJP and its allies NDPP have got 29 seats. While the NPF has won 27 seats. JDU also got one seat here. JDU has announced support for the BJP alliance. Here the other parties are getting three seats. Congress has not got a single seat in Nagaland.
The result of all 59 seats in Meghalaya have been declared. No party has got a majority here. Congress has emerged as the largest party with 21 seats. The Bharatiya Janata Party got just two seats here. NPP got 19 seats.
