BHU: Girl Students' Movement was Furious, Many Injured in Violent Clashes

The movement of girl students against the tampering in Banaras Hindu University has become furious. On Saturday late evening, the police took the lathi charge and removed the students from the detention site, after which there have been violent clashes between the students and the police.

Many vehicles have been set on fire. Security forces have been deployed in large numbers to control the situation.

The police has also launched a search campaign at the university's hostels.

After being violent student movement, the university has been closed for two October.

It is also alleged that the university administration raises questions on girl students rather than taking complaints of flirting seriously.
